New Interior Design Program Rankings
DesignIntelligence ranks Westphal's Interior Design Programs among 'Most Admired Design Schools' for 2018

The Westphal College of Media Arts & Design’s Interior Design programs were recognized among the ‘Most Admired Design Schools in the US’ by DesignIntelligence, a highly respected resource for design practitioners and educators.
Westphal’s Master’s program in Interior Architecture & Design is ranked #9 and the undergraduate Interior Design program is ranked #14 in the nation. DesignIntelligence ranked 12 areas of focus in its full report. The Master’s program received 9 rankings in these areas of focus including Communication and Presentations Skills, Construction Materials and Methods, Design Theory and Practice, Healthy Built Environments, Project Planning and Management, Research, and Sustainable Built Environments. Both BS and MS programs were noted for focus areas in Engineering Fundamentals and Transdisciplinary Collaborations. DesignIntelligence surveys over 6,000 working professionals, 350 academic leaders, and 5,500 students in compiling their rankings, and the full report can be read here.
